SXSW Conference & Festival 2023
The Italian Trade Agency will be at the 2023 edition of SXSW Conference & Festival taking place in Austin, Texas, on March 10th – 19th.
The worldwide event, founded in 1987 to celebrate the convergence of technology, films, music, education, and culture, is split into two sections: a B2B portion, dedicated to networking between record companies, artists, producers, distributors, agents, and organizers of music, radio, and TV festivals, and the Showcase section, dedicated to live shows.
ITA aims to promote the Italian creative innovation in its many different fields, which is why its participation will be in the technology section and the creative area in collaboration with FIMI (Federation Italian Music Industry), Italia Music Export, Anica (Association of Italian Cinema and Audiovisual Industry), and APA (Italian Audiovisual Producers Association).
ITA will bring a delegation of Italian start-ups in the following sectors:
– Artificial Intelligence, Robotics & Voice Enterprise & Smart Data
– Entertainment, Media & Content
– Extended Reality & Immersive Technology Food, Nutrition, & Health
– Future of Work
– Innovative World Technologies Metaverse & Web3
– Smart Cities, Transportation & Sustainability
The Music Festival will feature Italian singers Arya, BIRTHH, Ginevra Nervi, Enzo Baruffaldi, Her Skin, Prim, and Italian bands Big Cream, Big Mountain County, Dumbo Gets Mad, and The Wends.
