Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2023

The 37th annual Game Developers Conference takes place March 20-24, 2023 at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, and will deliver the industry’s greatest source of content and connections. This year’s theme is “The Future of the Industry,” with a series of talks about emergent technologies, and the next generation of games. With plenty of exciting sessions, networking events, and more, the Game Developers Conference (GDC) is the largest game industry event in the world. The conference will feature the lates development tools and services from leading technology companies like Google, Amazon, Intel and others. The expo section of GDC 2023 will host themed areas for playable indie games, retro games, alternative controllers and more, creating numerous opportunities for connecting with like-minded people.

The Italian Trade Agency, in collaboration with IIDEA Italian Interactive Digital Entertainment Association), will present a delegation of 20 Italian gaming studios. The Italian game developing market is recording positive signs of growth for both businesses and employment. We are talking about 160 development studios and 1600 professionals employed in the sector with a 45% growth in employment in the last two years.

Hot Wheels Unleashed™ by Milan-based Italian video game company Milestone was selected as the Best Italian Game in IIDEA’s 2022 Italian Video Game Awards. The extensive vehicle customization and ability to build tracks in this racing game lets players live out their childhood imagination of epic races in everyday environments such as the bedroom and kitchen, played out by their favorite Hot Wheels cars.
