Televerse Festival (August 14–16, 2026, Los Angeles)
From August 14 to 16, 2026, Los Angeles will host the second edition of Televerse, the festival organized by the Television Academy, dedicated entirely to the world of television. The event will be held at the JW Marriott at L.A. LIVE, in the heart of the city, which for three days will become a meeting point for the public, industry professionals and showbiz stars.
Following the success of the first edition, which in 2025 drew more than 2,500 attendees from both the industry and the general public, Televerse returns with an even more ambitious program. The festival will celebrate Emmy-nominated series, the most innovative creatives and the television content audiences love most, offering panels, workshops, sneak-peek screenings, “For Your Consideration” events reserved for Emmy voters, and true star-studded reunions.
Among the most anticipated events is the 25th anniversary reunion of Band of Brothers, the celebrated HBO miniseries about “Easy” Company during World War II: taking the stage will be lead writer and supervising producer Erik Jendresen, writer Graham Yost and the full cast, moderated by Kirk Saduski (Playtone). There will also be room for Star Trek and the Evolution of VFX and Virtual Production, a panel marking the franchise’s 60th anniversary that will trace the evolution of visual effects in television, from practical models to CGI to virtual production, with guests Chris Fisher, Jason Zimmerman, Andrew Coutts and Henry Alonso Myers, all involved in the saga’s recent series.
Reunions for Homeland and Six Feet Under will also be on the bill, the latter featuring a special screening of the series finale followed by a conversation with creator Alan Ball and his collaborators, as will the 15th-anniversary reunion of Revenge, the series that in 2011 reimagined The Count of Monte Cristo set in the Hamptons, with Emily VanCamp. Rounding out the reunions is the cast of My So-Called Life, the beloved ’90s coming-of-age cult series, featuring Bess Armstrong, Wilson Cruz, Devon Gummersall, A.J. Langer and Devon Odessa.
The program will also include an acting class with Henry Winkler, a conversation with director/producer Paris Barclay, a panel dedicated to TV music with Rachel Bloom, Kris Bowers, Sherri Chung and David Fleming, and a discussion on horror showrunners with Haley Z. Boston, Chris Cantwell and Victor LaValle. Television Academy Chair Cris Abrego noted that the 2026 edition aims to spotlight both the most established voices in television and emerging new talent, while also exploring the emerging technologies reshaping the industry.
