Torino Film Festival, November 24–December 2, and Torino Film Industry, November 26–30, 2026 | Turin, Italy

In November, Turin will once again take center stage in Italian and international cinema with the 44th edition of the Torino Film Festival, running November 24 through December 2, and the ninth edition of Torino Film Industry (TFI), scheduled for November 26–30. Together, these two complementary events bring screenings, industry meetings, market activities, and networking opportunities to a city that continues to play a leading role in Italy’s audiovisual landscape.

Italy’s first capital and the birthplace of the country’s film industry, Turin has maintained a deep connection to cinema throughout its history. The National Museum of Cinema, housed in the iconic Mole Antonelliana, stands as a testament to this heritage. Today, the city is home to a dynamic production ecosystem encompassing cultural institutions, production companies, creative talent, and specialized services, supported in part by Film Commission Torino Piemonte.

Under the artistic direction of Giulio Base, the Torino Film Festival remains committed to independent and auteur cinema, artistic experimentation, and emerging filmmakers. The 2026 edition will pay tribute to Marilyn Monroe, who is also featured on the official festival poster, with a 24-title retrospective exploring her career and enduring influence on cinema. Alongside classics directed by filmmakers such as Billy Wilder, Howard Hawks, John Huston, and George Cukor, the program will include the documentary Love, Marilyn and Pier Paolo Pasolini’s La rabbia, as well as four films in which acclaimed actresses have portrayed the Hollywood icon. The opening ceremony will take place on November 24 at Turin’s historic Teatro Regio, hosted by Italian actress Ambra Angiolini. The festival’s full lineup will be unveiled at a press conference in Rome on November 5.

Running alongside the festival, the ninth edition of Torino Film Industry (TFI) will take place November 26–30, 2026, bringing together audiovisual professionals for workshops, pitching sessions, one-on-one meetings, and industry panels. Activities will be hosted at Turin’s historic Circolo dei lettori e delle lettrici and other venues across the city, fostering networking, project development, and international co-production opportunities.

By combining the discovery of new films and filmmakers with opportunities for professional exchange, the two events reinforce Turin’s position as a meeting point for creativity, innovation, and the international audiovisual business.

The Torino Film Festival is organized by the Museo Nazionale del Cinema, with the support of the Ministero della Cultura – Direzione Generale Cinema e Audiovisivo, Regione Piemonte, Città di Torino, Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, and Fondazione CRT.
