Videocittà – Agorà (July 10–12, 2026, Gazometro, Rome)
Rome’s Gazometro lights up again this summer for the ninth edition of Videocittà, the festival of vision and digital culture conceived by Francesco Rutelli. From July 10 to 12, under the title “Watercult 2026,” this edition places water at its center — as natural resource, climate urgency and artistic inspiration — across immersive installations, video art, virtual reality, audiovisual live sets and performances that turn the Ostiense district into an open-air laboratory of contemporary creativity.
At the professional heart of the festival sits Agorà, Videocittà’s international B2B platform and a boutique marketplace for digital creativity and creative technologies. Built to connect global buyers, curators and industry leaders with Italy’s most relevant studios, artists and companies, Agorà spans digital art, immersive media, audiovisual production, design, technology and entertainment. Its mission is straightforward: to support the international growth of Italian creativity and turn encounters into real opportunities. Coordinated by Guido Pietro Airoldi and staged with the support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAECI) and the Italian Trade Agency, its two professional days (July 9–10) gather more than 40 international operators alongside around 150 selected Italian participants, with the ambition of generating over 1,000 qualified B2B meetings.
The format rests on a proven track record. Across its editions, Agorà has hosted more than 1,460 B2B meetings, 50+ pitches and 1,350+ professional attendees from over 14 countries — and its 2025 edition alone delivered 260+ B2B meetings, engaged 150+ Italian companies and welcomed more than 8,300 visitors to the Agorà EXPO, closing with a 95% satisfaction rate and 85% follow-up activation.
The program unfolds in two movements. A “Market Day” of B2B meetings, a Pitch Marathon, and curated networking; followed by an “Experience Day” of studio visits to Italian creative studios and production spaces, thematic workshops, and a VIP premiere inside Videocittà itself. International delegates also gain privileged access to the festival: private previews, reserved networking moments and direct encounters with artists and professionals.
