Los Angeles, Italia Film, Fashion and Art Fest 2024

This year’s event is dedicated to Marcello Mastroianni, on the eve of the centenary of the legendary actor’s birth, as well as to the playwright Eduardo de Filippo, with director Edoardo De Angelis and actress and new director Lina Sastri discussing his work. Lina Sastri will also present the world premiere of her first feature film, “La casa di Ninetta”. Franco Nero, co-founder of the Festival (realized with the contribution of Ilbe, Riflessi, Wwps TV, and Givova) will welcome the guests of the Event, chaired this year by producer Raffaella de Laurentiis and director Michelle Danner. Among other expected guests are Luca Barbareschi, Francesco Mandelli, young director Luigi Grispello, along with many friends of the Festival: Oscar winners Nick Vallelonga, Barry Morrow, Bobby Moresco.

The event is aimed at promoting Italian film production in the United States through premieres and screenings in the week leading up to the Oscars, a special Oscar considering the nomination for Best International Film for Matteo Garrone‘s work, Io, Capitano. to celebrate the Director a special screening of “Dogman” will be held at 2:30 pm on March 5th. All events are open to the public free of charge.
