The Italian Trade Agency – Los Angeles Office and Filming Italy Los Angeles 2024 present the industry panel “The Renaissance of the Italian Audiovisual Industry & Its Impact on Italian Talent in the U.S.“
Organized by Tiziana Rocca Production in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency – Los Angeles Office, this panel will be a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Women in Film Los Angeles and an exploration into the revitalization of the Italian Audiovisual Industry and how it impacts those who work in the United States.
The ninth edition of Filming Italy – Los Angeles, created and directed by Tiziana Rocca, Agnus Dei, in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Culture in Los Angeles, will take place from February 26th to 29th, 2024 in Los Angeles, in collaboration with APA (Audiovisual Producers Association) and under the auspices of the Consulate General of Italy in Los Angeles.
Filming Italy – Los Angeles, besides promoting Italy as a film set and a bridge between Italian and American culture, supports Italian cultural growth through its cinema, the internationalization of Italian audiovisual products, and fosters intercultural relationships among various directors, producers, and artists.
One of the protagonists of this edition will be Franco Nero. The esteemed actor, a pride of Italian cinema worldwide, will be presented with the Filming Italy Los Angeles Lifetime Achievement Award on the evening of February 29th. For the occasion, Filming Italy will screen a marathon of films dedicated to him.
