Taormina Film Festival

One of Italy’s oldest film festivals is back for its 69th edition. Harrison Ford is among those in attendance.
From June 24th to July 1st 2023, the enchanting town of Taormina will see film enthusiasts, industry professionals, and celebrities from around the world gather to celebrate the Seventh Art. Established as a unique and unforgettable event on the international film calendar, this year the festival is set to feature the highly anticipated reboot of Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny, parts of which were filmed in Sicily (Syracuse, Cefalù, and the province of Trapani).
Harrison Ford will attend the event as part of the principal cast.
Premieres will be screened every evening in the most beautiful outdoor cinema in the world: the Greek Theatre.
Alongside the screenings and other events is a gala evening celebrating the renowned Nastri d’Argento awards (the Italian Oscars) which historically were a cornerstone of the Taormina Film Festival. The Nastri d’Argento awards return to Taormina this year with a special screening of La stranezza (Strangeness), directed by Roberto Andò and featuring Toni Servillo, Valentino Picone, and Salvatore Ficarra.
Taormina Film Festival will be celebrating the 90th anniversary of Warner Bros, by showing 20 iconic films at Palazzo dei Congressi and at Casa del Cinema to pay tribute to the rich history and legacy of Warner Bros films.
