AMERICAN FILM MARKET 2022

The American Film Market 2022 takes place in Santa Monica, California, at the Loews Beach Hotel and theatres throughout the city, from Tuesday, November 1 and runs for six days through Sunday, November 6.

The only independently produced sales market in the industry, AFM Exhibitor registration is trending strong with 225 companies and growing, including sales, production and distribution companies, as well as international trade organizations, film commissions and production service companies.

The Italian Trade Agency has presented the industry Panel “Filming in Italy- The attractiveness of tax incentives and unique locations.

Film and television productions in Italy have soared in recent years thanks to the nation’s generous tax credits, which were increased from 30% to 40% following the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. But Italy offers much more than financial incentives. The combination of an incomparable beauty of the territory with highly skilled workers and a vast network of support services makes Italy a strategic partner in the film industry.
