TikTok: The Discover List of 2022
From time to time, social media channel TikTok develops a list of worth-to-be-known content creators
The discover list 2022 has been published by Variety, spotlighting global creators making a positive impact on and off the platform. Divided into five categories — change makers, foodies, icons, innovators, and originators — each of the 50 nominated creators has something unique to share with the world.
Two of them are Italian:
Tasnim Ali (@alitasnim) is actually number one on the list. She lives in Rome but was born in Arezzo to an immigrant family. She’s Muslim, and through her videos, she answers questions about her culture and traditions while dispelling misconceptions about her religion. “TikTok completely changed me. Thanks to TikTok, I have a voice,” she says.
Fabiola Baglieri (@fabiola.baglieri) is from Milan. The TikTok community loves her for her ability to create beautiful makeup looks backed by creativity, humor, talent, and kindness. “I grew up in a small city where I was bullied for my appearance. TikTok offered me new possibilities, the chance to share my talents with the world, and live my dreams.”
Other content creators focus their videos on social issues, positive messages, comedy, innovations, etcetera. Here is the complete list.
