He praised the Grindstone brand, noting that it resonates with multiplatform partners worldwide for its high production standards and star-driven concepts. “We look forward to continuing to develop their brand and collaborating on another outstanding slate of films with Barry, Stan, and our distribution partners around the world”.

Grindstone’s President and CEO Barry Brooker, alongside principal Stan Wertlieb, shared similar sentiments. “We couldn’t imagine a better home for our team or our filmmaking partners than Lionsgate” they said in a joint statement. “They are dominant worldwide leaders in handling the titles that have been our core specialty. As the demand for content continues to evolve, especially in the multiplatform arena, we couldn’t be in better or more capable hands”.

With this extension, Lionsgate and Grindstone are set to deliver a fresh array of films, sustaining their impact on the market and ensuring that audiences have access to diverse, high-quality entertainment across multiple platforms.
