Global Stage Hollywood Film Festival

Global Stage Hollywood is a dynamic film festival held from November 1st to 3rd, 2024, at the famous TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. This three-day event celebrates international and diverse cinema, with a special focus on Japanese films. The festival will feature screenings, panels, and performances by creators from around the world, aiming to foster cultural exchange and highlight the latest trends in global entertainment. Founded by industry veteran Douglas Montgomery, it serves as a platform for emerging talent and new voices in the entertainment industry​

Global Stage Hollywood has announced its 2024 award categories, introducing a new category, “Best Live-Action Short,” in response to the exceptional quality and volume of short films submitted this year. This joins the existing categories: “Best Short,” “Best Feature,” “Best Documentary,” and “Best Animated Short,” showcasing a wide range of cinematic talent from around the world.

The opening film for GSH 2024 will be Six Singing Women, starring Asami Mizukawa. This gripping drama follows Tokyo-based photographer Shinichiro Kayashima, who, after his father’s death, becomes trapped in the mountains with a real estate developer, only to be confronted by a mysterious group of women who seem spiritually linked to the land
