NBC Universal Expands One Platform Ad System to Global Market

The announcement was made at the Cannes Lions advertising convention in France.

NBCUniversal intends to expand its One Platform advertising, technology, data, and measurement system into global markets through an alliance with international broadcast and tech partners. The announcement was made at the Cannes Lions advertising convention in France.

International partners will include European’s Sky Media, Atresmedia, Bell Media, Seven West Media, Talpa Network, TF1 Group, Tokyo Broadcasting System, and Omnicom Media Group.

“Across the world, we see the power of premium content to engage audiences and drive impact for businesses. And yet, the complexity of transacting across multiple markets at scale has kept marketers from accessing an increasingly global consumer base,” said Krishan Bhatia, president & chief business officer of NBCUniversal. “Through cross- industry partnerships with leading programmers, we hope to build a more scalable TV advertising ecosystem for the benefit of all participants.”

NBC Universal website explains what One Platform is: “A system founded on trust, transparency, and collaboration to help all partners leverage first-party data, activate impactful campaigns across all screens, and measure what matters.”
