A Streaming Service to Save the Planet

Ecoflix has partnered with Wildlife SOS to educate and inspire people to take positive action to protect wildlife and restore the planet. Can streaming services contribute to saving the planet? Yes, when its name is Ecoflix. American philanthropist and animal advocate David Casselman in November 2021 founded Ecoflix to support and empower positive change to protect the natural world. After one year, the streaming service (viewers can watch a range of original documentaries and feature programming free with their subscription) is a reality partnering with environmental NGOs to pursue a noble cause: save the planet. Ecoflix just announced that it had started collaborating with Wildlife SOS to educate and inspire people to take positive action to protect wildlife and restore the planet. One of the first initiatives together was the launch of the documentary “Saving the Dancing Bears,” produced by Wildlife SOS, which premiered on October 12th in celebration of the inaugural World Sloth Bear Day. Other nonprofit partnerships include The Born Free Foundation, Project Everyone, The United Nations Trillion Tree Campaign, and National Park Rescue. Accessible to schools for free, Ecoflix is the first nonprofit media company created to promote conservation initiatives around the globe. 100% of membership fees and Ecoflix profit are allocated to saving animals and the planet. On November 7th, ITTV Forum&Festival (see the “Events” section of the newsletter) will feature a conversation with David Casselman, Founder of Ecoflix; Elisabetta Canalis, TV personality and animalist advocate; Matteo Perale, Entrepreneur and executive. Moderator: Valentina Martelli, Founder, and CEO of ITTV.
